Here I am at CD14 – getting ready to test with an OPK later today and let me tell you I know exactly where my ovaries are. They are currently humongous. I can feel pressure from them when I walk. The only way I can think to describe it is it feels like I am two small cantaloupes in my abdominal cavity and when I walk and my muscles move, it forces them taut against my skin. It isn’t really pain, just a constant state of ache.
Honestly, as uncomfortable as I am – I am also slightly hopeful that the dull ache on both sides is an indication that the Clomid has worked. I really hope that we will be doing the deed soon and I’d like to spy on the ovaries to see what all this ache is cracked up to be.
Pregnant Dreams
I dreamt yesterday that I was pregnant with twins and that I had them in our bedroom and they were a little bit small so we put them in the oven to finish cooking them. About 2 hours later we took them out and they were fine – and had started crawling. It was a very realistic dream, not fanciful at all. When I woke up I told A. all about it and she just pat my cantaloupes.
Living Simply
As I mentioned in a previous post our goal this year to the live simply. Every day we have been asking ourselves what we have done to live simply. I discovered (somewhat late in the game I think) this thing called freecycle. It is like criagslist, but with free stuff. So far I gave away two random christmas gifts that were perfectly useful and yet not our style. Its pretty awesome.
Playing Dress-up
One of my dogs, Ramsey, sincerely enjoys dressing up. She has a few halloween costumes that she will go and pull out of the drawer in hopes that you will put it on. Well yesterday she pulled A.’s hat off the couch so we stuck it on her. She looks positively adorable. She posed for several pictures – too cute.

Freecycle is fantastic – we’ve got rid of loads of unwanted stuff and scored some real gems in return, including our TV table and a practically brand new breadmaker. Not sure we have Craigslist here but I will check out.
Glad the clomid seems to be doing the trick, though sorry you’re feeling uncomfortable with it. Be interested to see what the scan reveals. We’ll be insemming on Tuesday hopefully, as no positive again today. Bring on the TWW and some good news at the end of it for both of us, I say!
BTW, that hat really suits your dog. Like it was something she bought for herself. Odd.

Yes I get middle pain too. All I can say is I feel my ovaries. Can actually visualize ( in my mind ofcourse)
them in there JUST bulging
Sometimes it feels like someone is squeezing them.

Eeek! i hope those big ol’ ovaries have some nice ready-to-go follicles for you this cycle! How exciting…
And your dog is so cute! Our boston terrier loves dress up too. He will prance around in just about anything we put on him, and of course, loves it more when he’s praised.
