I am quite contrary
I am starving and yet not hungry for anything except things that give me heartburn and things I can’t have. I have a strange craving for bloody mary’s (virgin of course) I didn’t like them too much before el nino set up camp but now I crave them. So I stopped this morning and got a V8 – thinking that might help – nope heartburn.
I get tired very easily and yet I am being stubborn and trying to keep going. I even get outrageously out of breath doing the smallest things – like walking up stairs. Last night I went grocery shopping after work and I had to sit down and take a break when I got home before I put everything away.
I’m fat. I haven’t gained a single pound but my clothes don’t fit and I don’t look attractive in anything I own. I’m blaming this on hormones and not el nino – i mean its the size of a lentil bean or half way to the size of my thumb nail – can’t be making my pants not fit.
most of all, i am delighted to be pregnant – but feel like a visitor in my own mind and body. Its the strangest experience.
Other Symptoms
Not sick anymore (as of today) !!! But stuffy nose has remained.
I turned into a big pee-er.
My heart beats very very fast, it scares me. I keep looking it up and it says its normal.
My breasts are different and are VERY sensitive to cold. In fact if confronted with cool air they promptly turn to stone – which has proven to been outrageously painful.
I am very forgetful. (I am usually the keeper of information and dates and numbers)
I’ve started crying at TV shows, commercials, news articles. (I am usually pretty stoic, in fact I’ve only cried at a handful of movies in my life)
