Suki Dot might just be a gymnast

So over the last few days I have progressed to being able to feel suki-dot at night and at different points in the day when I am sitting.  If I hold still, I am almost guaranteed to be able to feel something.  Well this morning I work up with a very sore abdomen.  I think suki-dot was doing jumping jacks or had the largest growth spurt ever…  Now I feel a tad crampy in the very lower part of my abdomen… only when I move…

I assume this is normal but anyone else have a similar expereince?

also, the nausea, desperation hunger, and sleepiness are back…  isn’t the second trimester supposed to be full of energy???

  • my second trimester was when sleep problems started, and i found that i totally had a sore abdomen because i was still sleeping on my belly, and my wiggle monster was essentially punching me to object. now, in 3rd trimester, i sleep only on my sides, wedged amidst a million pillows. pillows help a lot. the movement stuff is cool–it only gets stronger from here!

  • The cramps sound like round ligament pain which has to do with your muscules stretching to accommodate your changing body. It happens to me a lot. My midwife said if I get them and I’m sitting, to stand up or change position and vice-versa.

  • yup…sounds like round ligament pain to me too, i started to get it about 20 weeks too…not as intense now as it was, or maybe i have just got used to it!
