“This Baby is off the Chain” (ultrasound pictures)

“This baby is off the Chain”  Actual works spoken by the ultrasound tech yesterday as suki-dot rolled around doing flips and sommersaults.  She barely got all of her measurements completed…  The verdict – perfectly normal baby in size, proportions, and heartbrainhandsfeetlegsarmsandhead.  YEAH!   (I think I’ve mentioned this before but we are choosing not to find out the sex… so no news on that front)  Its the first time in my life were I begged and pleaded for normal…  Doc said it was so normal that he sees no need for additional ultrasounds!

The actual appointment was very emotional.  We invited A.’s mom and the two of them just starred at the screen with the tech rearranged my innards with the ultrasound sensor…  I swear she gave me new stretch marks.  But it was worth it for the pictures…    A. was absolutely adorable.  She asked random strangers in the elevator if they wanted to see pictures of the cutest baby in the world and then handed them the ultrasound pictures…  So yeah.  I’m smitten all over again  – with my beautiful wife and my little baby…
